For bars, lounges & cultural rooms

Turn slow nights into intentional foot traffic.

Signal Nights put your venue on the public calendar, on Radar with a live badge, and in guests’ pockets with RSVP reminders — without building another events stack.

  • Publish once, show up everywhere

Set your Signal Night window, capacity, and door copy. We list you on signal.app/events, badge Radar during the window, and surface you in the Tonight tab in the app.

  • RSVP & waitlist that actually notify

Guests RSVP in the app. When you’re full, waitlist joins get a push if a spot opens — so you’re not guessing headcount at the door.

  • Night-of ops, not a spreadsheet

Live check-in counts, going / waitlist, share link, and printable room QR — built for the person working the door, not marketing six weeks out.

  • Insights you can act on

See the funnel from RSVP → check-in → signals → mutuals during your window. Export CSV when you need to report to ownership.

  • Team & spotlight when you’re ready

Invite colleagues with viewer or editor roles. Optional Radar spotlight and featured headline when you want a density push.

  • Map & Look Around on your event page

Guests get Apple Maps + street-level preview on your public event URL — shareable link and QR from the portal.

How onboarding works

  1. 01

    Apply or get invited

Submit the partner application — or ask Signal ops to add your email to an existing venue.

  2. 02

    Publish your night

Title, window, capacity, listing note, and map pin.

  3. 03

    Share & run the door

Copy the event URL, print QR, watch live counts on night-of.

Already on Radar? Your room code and check-ins keep working — Signal Nights add the calendar, RSVP layer, and partner analytics on top.

The idea

The room is the feed.

No infinite deck. No couch-swiping. Just the people who walked through the same door you did.

— Welcome to Signal

Manifesto

Swipe culture optimized for volume. Signal is built for the door — and the people willing to walk through it.

  1. I

    The room is the feed

No infinite deck. You only see people who checked into the same room, in the same window of time.

  2. II

    Aura before identity

Vibe and interests in the room. Photos and name unlock only after a mutual signal.

  3. III

    One signal, on purpose

Three free signals a day. Each one is a real gesture — not spray-and-pray swiping.

  • IV · Silent passes

If they're not interested, nothing is sent back. No public rejection theater.

  • V · Present, not passive

You only appear where you are right now. No ghost profiles, no bots, no one matching from the couch three states away. When you see someone on Signal, they're in the room with you tonight.

Our standard

Members’ club. No velvet rope.

Same bar for everyone who walks in — intentional, in public, and done when the night is over.

  • Single and intentional

Built for adults who are single and dating on purpose — showing up live in a room, not hiding a relationship or treating people like a game.

  • In person, in public

You check in at real places — wine bars, cafés, galleries, hotel lounges. Chemistry starts where you can actually introduce yourself.

  • Premium when you’re serious

Enter free with 3 signals a day. Signal+ is for daters who want to see who noticed them first — yearly with a free trial where available in the App Store, or monthly if you prefer flexibility.

The ritual

Three moves. No filler.

Matching and chat unlock in a room you’re checked into. Browse Radar anywhere — go live only after an IRL check-in.

  1. 01

    Step into the room

Walk in. Tap check-in. You're only visible while you're physically there — when you walk out, your presence disappears.

  2. 02

    Send one signal

Someone you’d actually talk to? One note. Direct. Respectful — not a performance.

  3. 03

    Mutual unlock

When you both signal, chat opens and profiles reveal. Then you meet — same room, same night.

In the app

One room.
One signal.
Mutual only.

See who’s live, send a signal, and unlock chat only when it’s mutual. Presence expires. Silent passes stay silent.

Rooms · live · signal · match

Your aura stays yours until it’s mutual.

Safety at Signal

Anonymous until mutual. Presence expires. Silent passes. Report anywhere — structural, not a slogan.

Full guide →
  • 01

    Anonymous until mutual

You're an aura in the room — not a searchable profile catalog.

  • 02

    Presence expires

Check-ins end. You drop off the live room when the window closes — you are not permanently discoverable from home, even though you can open Radar anywhere.

  • 03

    Report anywhere

Block and report from every room, profile, and chat. Profile and chat photos run through on-device safety checks before upload when Apple’s analysis is available.

Ok but…
why Signal?

Because chemistry was never meant to happen through a glass screen. You can't swipe your way to eye contact, body language, or genuine vibe. Radar shows the rooms. Checking in makes you visible. One signal is a real gesture. When it’s mutual, chat unlocks — so you can skip three weeks of texting and introduce yourself tonight.

FAQ

All questions · Support

Where does Signal work?+

Signal lists real check-in locations on Radar — bars, cafés, and other public rooms — with coverage growing across the United States. You only appear live when you check in at a listed venue in person. The globe on this site reflects the same network; not every location has someone live at once.

What is Signal?+

Signal is IRL-first dating for grown, intentional singles. You check in when you're physically at a bar, café, gallery, or other room, see who else is live there as anonymous auras, and send one deliberate signal. Matches only happen when you both choose it — then you connect in real life.

Who is Signal for?+

Single professionals and intentional daters who want to meet someone in the same room — not another endless feed from the couch. If you're looking for volume swiping, playing games, or hiding a relationship behind an app, Signal isn't built for that.

How is this different from swipe apps?+

There's no infinite deck. You can only signal people in the same room as you, right now — which makes the opener honest ('we're both here') instead of a rehearsed line. One signal, not fifty.

Who can see me when I'm live?+

Only people checked into the same room during your check-in window. You appear as an anonymous aura — a vibe and a few interests — with your photos locked and blurred. Your name, photos, and dating profile unlock only after a mutual match and a deliberate reveal.

What happens when I send a signal?+

They get a notification with your note. If they signal back, it's a mutual match: chat, compatibility answers, and the full profile reveal unlock. If they pass on your signal, you won't get a rejection notice — the request simply doesn't become a match. If they never respond, nothing is sent either way.
